Earlier this month, we received an e-mail from a potential customer asking why our Perfect Fit model specific air conditioning systems are “the best bang for the buck.”  It seemed like a hanging curve ball over the plate, and we decided it was time for some shameless promotion on our blog.  Short story long, there are many reasons why our Perfect Fit AC systems are the best in the business, but in this post we focus on just one:  coil size. 

Perfect Fit Coils vs. Competition

Size matters and our coils are bigger!  Larger AC coils provide more cooling power than smaller ones.  Our Perfect Fit systems contain AC coils that are engineered to be big enough to cool the full passenger compartment.  In addition, they contain a large, separate heat coil, just like factory original systems, not the combined AC/Heat coils often found on an aftermarket system.  (Our competitors combined coils save them $ but reduce system heating and cooling effectiveness).

The Theory Behind Our Larger Air Conditioning Coils …..

Car air conditioning is nothing more than continuous heat transfer by two heat exchangers. One heat exchanger, the Evaporator, absorbs heat from the passenger compartment. The other heat exchanger, the Condenser, dissipates that heat into the outside air. All other things being equal, size matters. A larger Evaporator and a larger Condenser exchange more heat than smaller ones and allow the air conditioning system to cool better.   So, with our larger coils, you get better cooling.  Give them a try.  You’ll be glad you did.
