Well, we’ve done it again! Upgraded another of our model-specific complete Perfect Fit A/C Kits. This time the unit is for owners of the classic 1969 Pontiac Lemans or 1969 GTO (non-factory air vehicles.) The new Perfect Fit Elite™ system provides your car with Air Conditioning, Heat and Defrost.Classic Auto Air’s “Perfect Fit ELITE™” system allows you to retrofit an original, standard, 1969 GTO with full air-conditioning. Our system is engineered specifically to use the included D.E.R.(Direct Electronic Replacement) Controls and EZ Wire system. This new fully electric air conditioning uses our ECU to allow infinite adjustability over all modes, providing you with powerful air conditioning, heat on the floor, and dehumidified defrost. The air conditioning connects to new supplied vents and the defrost connects to new supplied defrost diffusers. Our standard louvers were designed to replicate factory original air conditioning.
Installation’s a Breeze!
Unlike other so-called solutions, CAA’s 1969 GTO “Perfect Fit ELITE™” air conditioning system really fits your ’69 Lemans or ’69 GTO with minimum modification to your vehicle. Our RETROFIT designs give OE quality combined with better than original performance and reliability. According to General Manager Mike Rejkowsk:”This air conditioning system was engineered to actually fit the original space in a 1969 GTO. We’re not selling a “one-size” unit adapted to fit an entire product line like our competitors.” Mike elaborates on component selection: “… comes equipped with carefully sized, large, separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems, not combined A/C/Heat coils often seen on cheap aftermarket systems. By using separate coils we improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system. This makes you cooler much faster!”

I have a Perfect Fit system designed off the 69 heater only GTO. Also your vehicle would have to be left hand drive as well.
