1978 and 1979 Ford Bronco A/C Kit

Classic Auto Air just releases a Bronco A/C kit for the years 1978 and 1979. This Perfect Fit ELITE™ model specific systems are not your typical, one-size-fits-all, low-quality, aftermarket air conditioning system. This kit was specifically designed to fit your 1978-1979 Ford Bronco.

The cooling and heating of this a/c system is equipped with carefully sized, large, separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems, not combined A/C/Heat coils often found on aftermarket systems. we improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system, by using separate coils. Because of this, you get cooler much faster in extreme heat conditions.

Classic Auto Air evaporators are AutoCAD designed to maximize airflow using the exclusive Direct Pass technology. This give you a greater volume of unobstructed airflow. You also benefit from larger door openings. This a/c kit comes with everything needed to retrofit an original, standard, heat-only, heat-only Ford Bronco with full air-conditioning. You get heat, a/c, and dehumidified defrost with the Ford Bronco A/C Kit.

This evaporator is assembled using spring metal retainers and is screwed together to enable you to service the entire system (if the need ever arises). Beware of glued together units that are expensive to replace.

The 1978 and 1979 Ford Bronco Direct Electronic Replacement controls (D.E.R.) give you a brand new, plug-n-play control that fits right into the OEM location with no modifications! That’s right fully electronic. NO push and pull cables.
