Designed specifically for a HUMVEE – HMMWV this Classic Auto Air Perfect Fit™ system by Restomod Air will convert your factory heat-only classic to full climate control. Like all Classic Auto Air kits, each component was either specifically designed, or carefully chosen to fit your vehicle (that’s why it’s model-specific). This HUMVEE – HMMWV kit contains what you’ll need to get modern day, high performance A/C, heat, and defrost into your classic. A/C, HEAT AND DEFROST
This model specific Perfect Fit™ system allows you to retrofit an original, standard, heat-only HUMVEE – HMMWV with full air-conditioning. Engineered specifically to use the original HUMVEE – HMMWV heater control position this custom designed plenum with attached dash louvers will provide you with powerful air conditioning, heat on the floor, and defrost. The air conditioning and defrost connect to the original heater-defrost diffusers in your HUMVEE – HMMWV making it truly a Perfect Fit™ system.
ALL STEEL EVAPORATOR AND PLENUM
The evaporator case is made from steel (not plastic), powder coated and fully insulated which creates the coldest temperatures your HUMVEE – HMMWV has ever seen. The computer-aided design and flexible duct hoses allow for the best performance possible. Designed to last a lifetime, the quality and attention to detail is evident in our HUMVEE – HMMWV system. All Classic Auto Air evaporators are AutoCAD designed to maximize airflow using the exclusive Direct Pass technology. This gives you a greater volume of unobstructed airflow that equal colder temperatures. You also benefit from larger door openings.
Classic Auto Air was the first to convert to high-quality servomotors to open and close internal doors. We pioneered this improvement and we STILL implement it best. All Classic Auto Air coils systems are engineered with carefully sized, separate A/C and Heat coils. This separate coil design improves the cooling and heating capacity of the total system. Our HUMVEE – HMMWV system also has the highest torque SPAl blower motors, giving exceptional air volume and temperatures not matched by anyone else. This a/c system is complete, no hidden option to deal with later.

The Perfect Fit™ HUMVEE – HMMWV air conditioning system is engineered to actually fit a HUMVEE – HMMWV. It comes equipped with carefully sized, large, separate A/C and Heat coils, not combined A/C-Heat coils often found on aftermarket systems. The separate coils improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system.
