Despite our best efforts, some parts may be out of stock. We will generally charge you at the time of the original order and ship the missing item prepaid as soon as possible. Backorders can be canceled at any time, unless already shipped. If backorder is canceled please allow 30 days for refund (corresponding discount price for system or kit components).
RISK OF LOSS
All purchases of physical items from Classic Auto Air are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. You may speak with a sales associate and ask for your shipment to be “Adult Signature Required” (Additional carrier fees may apply) or have your items delivered to your place of business or where you will be available to accept the package.
SHIPPING & SHIPPING DAMAGE
We have developed a state-of-the-art shipping container to help eliminate any damage during shipping. Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. All damage from shipping is the responsibility of the carrier. Keep all packing material with the box and parts. Without it, the carrier will not pay claims. Immediately call us with the tracking number from the packing label. We will be glad to assist you in filing a fast and accurate claim with the carrier. All International orders, all shipping duties and taxes imposed are the burden of buyer.
Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Missing parts must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order. you find you are missing parts, please call us immediately. We strive for 100% order accuracy and have developed a comprehensive (5 level) program of “check for completeness” to achieve this goal. However, if you discover you are missing a part, please call us immediately.
Classic Auto Air warrants that the products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, driving conditions and service for a period after the invoice date as follows: new parts – 1 year; “Perfect Fit” complete systems – 3 years; all other kits and partial systems – 1 year. Humvee systems and related parts 1 year. Our only obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace, at our option, the defective part. If you suspect a part is defective, you must call us immediately or void the warranty. If you get an RGA (returned goods authorization) number and include a copy of the original invoice. At our discretion, we may require suspected defective part to be returned for diagnostics, labor may be charged for parts returned that are found not to be defective. You must properly package the item and include a written explanation of the problem. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind. This warranty is voided by misuse, alteration, improper installation, accident or neglect, including installation of any refrigerant or additive other than R 134a. Damaged parts purchased from Classic Auto Air caused from non-purchased parts are not covered under this warranty. All warranty related international orders; shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer, Classic Auto Air will warranty qualified defective parts only. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTYS, ORAL AND WRITTEN, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Classic Auto Air attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Classic Auto Air does not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Classic Auto Air itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mis-priced. If the correct price of an item sold is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
We generally do not charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process or, for digital products, until we make the digital product available to you.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & TITLE
Classic Auto Air does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our fulfillment center. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, Classic Auto Air does not take title to the refunded item.
Special order and electrical parts are non-returnable. Other parts, kits and systems may be returned within 30 days for a full refund or exchange with a 15% restocking charge. Shipping charges are not refundable if order has been processed. All returns must be complete, uninstalled and in undamaged factory packaging. Kits and systems must be returned in their entirety; no partial return. Please call us for a returned goods authorization (RGA) number. All returns must include an RGA number, a copy of the original invoice, and be shipped prepaid to our address on the Shipping Information Sheet. Please allow 30 days for processing your refund.
