RETURNS, REFUNDS & TITLE

Classic Auto Air does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our fulfillment center. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, Classic Auto Air does not take title to the refunded item.

Special order and electrical parts are non-returnable. Other parts, kits and systems may be returned within 30 days for a full refund or exchange with a 15% restocking charge. Shipping charges are not refundable if order has been processed. All returns must be complete, uninstalled and in undamaged factory packaging. Kits and systems must be returned in their entirety; no partial return. Please call us for a returned goods authorization (RGA) number. All returns must include an RGA number, a copy of the original invoice, and be shipped prepaid to our address on the Shipping Information Sheet. Please allow 30 days for processing your refund.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL:

Our systems are designed for original unmodified vehicles. Please keep in mind the nature of 40-yr + vehicles. Your specific vehicle may have been originally unmodified by you, but previous owners may have changed parts such as dash components, radiator supports, engines, engine components, etc. Aftermarket parts have variations that will make your installation differ from our installation process. Please use your best practical application judgment regarding the installation instructions and steps provided. These steps may need to be altered to your specific vehicle during installation procedures. Modifications may be needed in your specific application. If you are unwilling to make modifications or do not have the practical judgment, expertise, and skill levels needed to install the product, then please return the kit in unused, uninstalled condition within the 30 day return period.

Before starting the installation process, we recommend looking over the provided parts along with the installation instructions. Our technical support team is here for you throughout the installation process but if you do not feel you have the expertise to install the product and make needed modifications that may apply in your situation, please return the product in unused, unmodified condition within 30 days of receiving it. We will happily refund your order, minus any shipping fees to your original payment method.

BACK ORDERS

Despite our best efforts, some parts may be out of stock. We will generally charge you at the time of the original order and ship the missing item prepaid as soon as possible. Backorders can be canceled at any time, unless already shipped. If backorder is canceled, please allow 15 days for refund (minus corresponding discount price for system or kit component purchases).

RISK OF LOSS

All purchases of physical items from Classic Auto Air are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier. You may speak with a sales associate and ask for your shipment to be “Adult Signature Required” (Additional carrier fees may apply) or have your items delivered to your place of business or where you will be available to accept the package.

 

SHIPPING & SHIPPING DAMAGE

Please open and inspect your order within 7 days of arrival. If you receive a damaged/defective item, please contact Classic Auto Air Customer Service within 48 hours of receipt. We have developed a state-of-the-art shipping container to help eliminate any damage during shipping. All damage from shipping is the responsibility of the shipping carrier. Keep all packing material with the box and parts. Without it, the carrier will not pay claims.  Call us within 7 days of arrival with the tracking number from the packing label. We will be glad to assist you in filing a fast and accurate claim with the carrier.

All International orders: all shipping duties and taxes imposed are the burden of buyer and are not collected by Classic Auto Air Manufacturing.

 

MISSING PARTS

Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Missing parts must be reported within 7 days of receiving your order. If you find you are missing parts, please call us immediately. We strive for 100% order accuracy and have developed a comprehensive (5 level) program of “check for completeness” to achieve this goal. However, if you discover you are missing a part, please call us immediately.

 

WARRANTY

Classic Auto Air warrants that the products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, driving conditions and service for a period after the invoice date as follows: new parts – 1 year; “Perfect Fit” complete systems – 3 years; all other kits and partial systems – 1 year. Humvee systems and related parts 1 year. Our only obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace, at our option, the defective part. We do not cover third party replacement costs. If you suspect a part is defective, you must call us immediately or void the warranty. If you get an RGA (returned goods authorization) number and include a copy of the original invoice. At our discretion, we may require suspected defective part to be returned for diagnostics, labor may be charged for parts returned that are found not to be defective. You must properly package the item and include a written explanation of the problem. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind. This warranty is voided by misuse, alteration, improper installation, accident or neglect, including installation of any refrigerant or additive other than R 134a. Damaged parts purchased from Classic Auto Air caused from non-purchased parts are not covered under this warranty. All warranty related international orders; shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer, Classic Auto Air will warranty qualified defective parts only. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTYS, ORAL AND WRITTEN, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

Classic Auto Air attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Classic Auto Air does not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Classic Auto Air itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in complete unused condition within 30 days of receiving the product.

INSTALLATION:

Our kits are designed for the at-home automotive enthusiast, we do not recommend taking them to a third-party installer. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind.  Taking to an installer is a decision that you make, and we will not be held responsible.

 

PRICING

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mis-priced. If the correct price of an item sold is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

We generally do not charge your credit card until after your order is ready for the shipping process or, for digital products, until we make the digital product available to you.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders placed can be cancelled if the order has not entered the shipping process. Please contact customer service immediately if you would like to cancel your order. If orders have entered the shipping process an RGA number will be required for return. The original shipping fee, if any, is non-refundable and a 15% restocking fee may be applicable.

QUALITY CHECK FOR RETURNS

 

 When a return item arrives at our warehouse, we will inspect for completeness and/or test it to ensure it is return- eligible and meets the applicable return requirements listed above. If the item passes our quality check, we will issue a refund. If our inspection finds that the returned item is not return-eligible or does not meet the return requirements listed above, we will reject the return and not issue a refund or credit.

If the return item is rejected, we will send the item back to you at the same address that was specified in the original order and at the expense of the customer. Customer Service will contact you.

RETURN REQUEST PROCESS

  1. Complete RETURNS form on Classic Auto Air website or Call Customer Service for RGA number.
  2. All returns MUST have a valid RGA number. Any shipment sent to our warehouse without a RGA number will be rejected and/or destroyed. We will not held responsible for shipments without a valid RGA number.
  3. Please properly package the item to prevent return shipping damage and include RGA number clearly written on the outside of packaging to ensure timely processing.
  4. Ship items to our warehouse for review.

REFUNDS:

  1. Refunds will be issued only after a return-eligible items, postmarked within 35 days after the original invoiced received date, has been received at our warehouse and has passed our quality check.
  2. For products that are returned in accordance with this Return Policy and pass our quality check, refunds will be processed within 15 business days after we receive your return package. The refund will be issued to the original payment method,

Unfortunately, due to transportation delays, your refund may require an additional 3-5 days to process. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
